The Gorge Amphitheatre
One of America’s premier outdoor concert venues, The Gorge Amphitheatre is a 20,000 plus seat concert venue that has played host to some of the worlds biggest performers.
The Gorge Amphitheatre is located in the rural town of Gorge above the Columbia River in Washington, just 20 minutes from Vantage, WA. Renowned as being one of the most scenic concert locations in the world offering spectacular river gorge views and concert friendly summer weather as well as lawn terrace seating.
Ginkgo Petrified Forest
Considered one of the most diverse fossil forests in North America, Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park is famous for its rare specimens of petrified Ginkgo tree discovered there in 1932. Take in the big skies, Columbia River views and outdoor exhibits of petrified wood. Look for evidence of Ice Age floods carved into the walls of the Columbia River Gorge. Then step inside the Ginkgo Petrified Forest Interpretive Center.
Beaches, Trails, & Boat Launches
Check out recreation sites with grassy areas, great beaches, walking and biking trails, and play equipment for a fun family afternoon. There are several boat launches up and down the river where you can launch your watercraft for free. Two great centers for education - the Grant PUD Visitor Center and the Wanapum Heritage Center.
